Get ready to make Next of Kin your next new kick.

Her last album, BLUEPRINT, brought the melodic sounds the she’s used to make her mark on the scene to the forefront. LARA’ – 3:00 p.m.
KUTX Artist of the Month alumna LARA’ (formerly Eimeral Sol) thrives with the kind of lush, sophisticated R&B you might recognize from fellow Texan, Erykah Badu. LARA’s most recent full-length, Luvology, is a sonic evolution from the slinky, soulful sound of her previous LP, Sol Sililoquies. Tracks like “Like Dat” exude effortless sensuality as LARA’ offers intimate glimpses behind a (very lacy) curtain.

THEBROSFRESH
New Orleans-born ATX duo THEBROSFRESH (yes, that would be The Brothers Fresh) is the creation of actual brothers Torrence and Thurman Thomas. This duo redefines what Black music from “the south” is as they brings smooth danceablity and cowboy hats onto the stage in tracks like “She Wants” and “Sweet Everything”.

Blah Spa – 3:00 p.m.
This kind of self-care is more of the pop-punk variety. Blah Spa is a group of (in their words) art punk burnouts who collaborate to create killer tracks such as “Next Level” which is best described as a boisterous sonic face mask. Grab your (stolen) hotel robes and pamper yourself with this high energy group.
