Christina Cavazos may have graduated high school this May, but she is no stranger to the stage. With a soft, folky falsetto backed by fingerpicked acoustics and warm, warbly keys, Cavazos’ sound is right at home in Austin’s most popular venues. Her songwriting and lyricism bring about feelings of nostalgia you may not have even known you had. She has big plans, too: an EP release, titled Mile Marker, and a Southwest summer tour with Jamiee Harris.
