Frederico7’s Pan-American soul music is a result of his diverse background. Born in Brazil, he has lived in Mexico, Argentina, and, finally, settled in right here in Austin. Speaking English, Portuguese and Spanish, the singer-songwriter isn’t short of words or rhythm. Frederico7’s music is a fusion of Afro-Brazilian rhythms, American Funk, Soul, Dub and Psychedelia. His debut album, Exótico Americano, is set to be released on Feb 23rd. The album tackles themes of unity and resilience while sharing the melodies that embody a diverse American continent.
