After playing collegiate football down the road at Texas A&M, Jesse Woods brought his guitar to Austin to pursue a career in music. Now more than 5 years on and Woods has certainly established himself as a talented songwriter with low-fi, ethereal songs that feel like they’re being transmitted to your dreams through an antique radio. That otherworldly quality makes him the perfect musical companion for Odessa, another Austin musician who found her songwriting voice after years of playing the violin. Odessa burst onto the national scene in 2015 with a debut album and hit single “I Will Be There”. She’s also got a new album coming out this fall, produced by Jonathan Wilson produced and mixed by Jim Eno.
The duo has been performing a month-long residency at the Continental Club Gallery with the final show taking place this Saturday. Scroll down to get the session and keep up with both their tours with the links provided.
