Suzanna Choffel is not a hidden gem, she’s already left a mark.
The beat poetry mystery of Choffel’s voice found a national debut on The Voice. Since the show, Choffel has has followed her own path, and divides her time between New York City and Austin. Her soulful vocals, and reggae style guitar can capture audiences live and on her 2013 album Archer released on Red Parlor Records. Now this uniquely penetrating artist anticipates a new album. Her Pledge music campaign ended with over 10% of needed funds, with a portion of the proceeds to benefit GEN Austin (Girls Empowerment Network). This weekend Choffel stands alongside another local cause, and will be performing in the Health Alliance for Austin Musicians Unity concert this Saturday Nov. 29th.
You can catch Choffel this Saturday at the Parish, or right here on KUTX!
