Tameca Jones has been bringing vibrant soul to her hometown of Austin for over a decade. The former singer-songwriter of 8 Million Stories is best known for her work as a cover artist; showcasing her pitch perfect mastery of a variety of styles. Having made a name for herself as the Queen of Austin Soul, last year saw the release of her first original EP Naked; through which she stripped herself of the ‘covers’. Tameca brought her rich, honeyed voice to Studio 1A to get us all excited for her Music Under the Star performance at the Bullock Museum. Check out the session below then go see her for yourself!
