Friends who jam together stay together- or at least that it is for The Nude Party. Their nightly jam sessions starting in Boone, NC eventually brought them here to Austin, TX to talk with KUTX host Laurie Gallardo. Lead vocalist/guitarist Patton Magee, vocalist/lead guitarist Shaun Couture, organist/pianist Don Merrill, bass player Alec Castillo, percussionist Austin Brose, and drummer Connor Mikita work together to create music that is an homage to 60’s frat rock. They’ve opened for artists like the Arctic Monkeys and Jack White and they recently graced the stage at Austin’s Antone’s, playing songs off their recently released self-titled release. Our KUTX studio audience was treated to a live performance that made us nostalgic for retro rock.
