It’s been a slow but steady burn for Austin’s Good Field. Paul Price started the band as a solo project years ago after stints in fellow local indie luminaries Voxtrot and Brazos, but he soon turned Good Field into a four-piece. The group’s 2012 self-titled debut earned tons of airplay on college radio stations across the country, and tours teamed them up with some heavy-hitters like the Heartless Bastards and Sarah Jaffe. New songs are on the way, but in the meantime, Good Field is making its Fun Fun Fun Fest debut this year.
The band stopped by Studio 1A back in 2013 to play some songs from their debut, and today’s song of the day comes from this live performance. “These Dreams” swoons just like its title, nodding towards atmospheric indie rockers like the Walkmen or the National. Download the song below and catch Good Field at Fun Fun Fun Fest 2014.
