MiWi La Lupa is a multi-instrumentalist with a wide-ranging list of collaborators and tour partners. When he was based in New York, he shared stages with David Byrne and St. Vincent, Lou Reed, Spoon, and jazz great Les McCann.
On his new album Ended Up Making Love–due out March 25 via Team Love–MiWi moved out to Omaha, Nebraska to team up with Bright Eyes’ Conor Oberst and Mike Mogis, longtime musical partners and co-producers of the album. On the title track, MiWi boils down his vast musical skills into a simple, catchy folk-pop gem that tells the tale of a tumultuous love. Listen to the song below.
