Otis The Destroyer: “Hand Me Nothing”

Austin’s Otis The Destroyer, true to its name, makes destructive rock and roll. The band has been honing its sound since forming in 2014, taking some cues from the Couch, a previous group featuring some of the Otis members. With two EPs under its collective belt, Otis now readies the release of its first LP. Keep Bashing is also perfectly-named: this is a collection of tight, hammer-hard songs focused around the band’s sweaty live performances. “Hand Me Nothing” sounds like it’s front row at one Otis’ shows, distorted and destroying everything in its path.

“Hand Me Nothing” appears on Keep Bashing, out September 29. Otis The Destroyer plays live in our Studio 1A on September 12 at 7:30 p.m. Singer/guitarist  Otis Wilkins also helps kick off another year of Project ATX6 with a show at the ABGB on September 14.
