Nowadays, Shakey Graves tours the country with an electrifying band, but Alejandro Rose-Garcia started out with just a guitar and DIY recording setup in an Austin house. He’s offering a peek into his humble beginnings with the release of Shakey Graves And The Horse He Rode In On, an archival collection of home recordings and rarities that previously appeared on two hard-to-find EPs. “Nobody’s Fool” is a stripped-down blues that showcases Rose-Garcia’s roots, and the tape hiss only adds to the scruffy charm.
