There’s not a lot of subtlety in Sun Club’s music, and that’s a good thing. The Baltimore quintet went big and bold on its 2015 debut, The Dongo Durango. The spazzy mash-up of psychedelic and electronic sounds recalls fellow Baltimoreans Animal Collective, but catchier and, well, sunnier. The band is a blast to listen to, especially on the ridiculously-named “Beauty Meat.” It’s a carnival in song-form, so packed with ideas that it can make you dizzy. Download the song below.
