Avril Lavinge Most Likely Celebrity to Give You an Online Virus

What celebrity web searches have the most potential to land you a virus? Cybersecurity firm McAfee has the answer. In the latest edition of its annual “Most Dangerous Celebrity on the Internet” list, Avril Lavinge finds herself at the top, being the first female musician to ever top the list, replacing Amy Schumer at the head of the list. According to McAfee, searches for Lavinge have a 14.5% chance of landing you on a page potentially housing an online threat. That number increases to 22% if you add the keywords “free mp3” at the end of the former pop-punk princess’s name. Bruno Mars makes his debut on the list at number two, with Carly Re Jepsen and Zayn Malik trailing

According to McAfee, searches for Lavinge have a 14.5% chance of landing you on a page potentially housing an online threat. That number increases to 22% if you add the keywords “free mp3” at the end of the former pop-punk princess’s name. Bruno Mars makes his debut on the list at number two, with Carly Re Jepsen and Zayn Malik trailing afterward. Rounding out the top ten list is music and life icon Beyonce.

McAfee uses search engines Google, Bing, and Yahoo to compile its information, and offers several reasons for Avril’s slightly revived popularity: her new album is in the works, E! Online recently featured her in a cover story, and let’s not forget that great little Internet theory that she’s been replaced by an imposter…or more appropriately, a total poser.

Waze and Spotify Bring Integration to iPhone

iPhone users rejoice, your frustrations trying to use your Waze and Spotify apps simultaneously are about to end. Currently an Android-only luxury, the integrated experience will allow iPhone users to toggle between the apps with one click and Waze will no longer cut off your Spotify sounds. Sticking to their safety ethics, Waza says general browsing through Spotify will be blocked while Waze is activated, but can be accessed by a passenger. Waza says the integrated experience will roll out for iPhone users over the next few weeks.
