Leticia Rodriguez is an Austin-based singer of primarily Latin music. The songs she sings are rich and diverse, filled with Latin rhythms and expressive lyrics. On her debut album, La Americana, Rodriguez sings music from many different cultures, including songs from Mexico, Cuba, Puerto Rico, Argentina, and here in the US. The blend of boleros, cha-chas, mambos, bossa nova, samba, and jazz make for a good mix on her first album. All of the songs are richly interpreted and beautifully performed.
Leticia Rodriguez will play at the Sunset Valley Farmer’s Market on Saturday morning, before launching off on a tour next week. Recently, she recorded a couple songs with KUTX. Check them out here!
