Texas is lucky to count SaulPaul as one of its native sons. For the past 10 years, the Houston born, Austin based rapper and producer has consistently used his talents to promote tolerance and social justice. With only an acoustic guitar, his voice, and a loop pedal, SaulPaul creates catchy, layered beats on the fly while freestyling about everything from self-respect to the importance of family and friends. Speaking of friends, SaulPaul was joined by vocalist Alexia Finney for the first song he performed during his recent visit to Studio 1A.
