2019 has been a big year for the UT graduates that make up TC Superstar – the eight-piece scored their first official SXSW showcase, was nominated for “Best Austin Band” at the Austin Music Awards, and are about to embark on a Midwest tour. Not only do the synth-pop savants mesmerize listeners, but the group focuses on dance as well, making their live performances all the more interesting to witness. Dancer LB Flett explains, “We really wanted to blend music and dance because we were seeing a really large lack of not only knowledge that dance exists in this community, but that there’s a lack of people placing dance in music venues.”
