Chicago singer-songwriter Andrew Bird is unarguable one of the biggest names in modern folk. He established himself as a solo act in the early 2000’s with songs like “Imitosis” and “A Nervous Tick Motion of the Head to the Left,” his latest album Things Here Are Great, Sort of… he continues to make a gypsy folk rock sound. Andrew Bird’s solo work could be described as jazzier than his other projects, The Squirrel Nut Zippers, and Andrew Bird’s Bowl of Fire.
