Marking its 20th season this year, Panoramic Voices brings an eclectic musical experience to the Austin community and beyond. Led by Artistic Director and Conductor Brent Baldwin, Panoramic Voices’ resourceful mix of classical and contemporary music is presented in compelling, heartfelt, and engaging concerts. As a reflection of its model of enduring innovation and evolution, the organization’s name was changed from Texas Choral Consort to Panoramic Voices in July 2016 to reflect its expanded artistic vision.
Beat the Rush is a series of free gallery concerts in which musicians perform in response to the paintings, drawings, and sculptures on display. Panoramic Voices with The Invincible Czars returns to the Blanton Museum of Art on Thursday, December 21, with special guests Nakia, Andy Bianculli (of Star Parks) and Leslie Sisson (of Moving Panoramas) for a rocking holiday extravaganza!
Museum admission is always free on Thursdays. On the third Thursday of each month, the museum remains open until 9 pm.
The Blanton is located at the intersection of Congress Avenue and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.
