Bros. Peterson

The Peterson Brothers‘ very first show was opening for Pinetop Perkins at his birthday show at Antone’s in 2009 – at ages 13 and 11. Talk about pivotal life moments. But something special was brewing. More was on the way for these budding musicians who were already making a huge impression.

Speaking of pivotal moments, for The Peterson Brothers, it was the inspiration they found in their mom’s and grandma’s album collection that changed their lives. In a way, you could say it was artists like BB King, the Brothers Johnson, and Earth Wind & Fire who taught siblings Glenn Jr. and Alex how to play guitar and bass, respectively. These days, with hundreds more shows, festival gigs and rave reviews under their collective belt, they continue their evolution as outstanding musicians.

Catch The Peterson Brothers at their residency show tonight, Monday Dec. 13, at The Continental Club, 1315 S. Congress Ave, at 6:30 p.m. The line-up includes an early set by The Last Jimenez, and later, Dale Watson at 10:30 p.m.
