Austin’s Touch Girl Apple Blossom crafts songs that hit straight at the most tender part of your heart. The band’s new album, Graceful, is a collection of jangly, nostalgic pop songs that feel lived-in and intimate.
Guitarists Olivia Garner and John Morales met playing in a country band and bonded over a shared love of twee music, which inspired them to get together and write some songs. Bassist Dustin Pilkington and drummer Charles Powell joined shortly after, and the band began playing shows around Austin. In 2023, they hit the studio with Max Deems and tracked four songs onto an 8-track recorder that would become the debut Touch Girl Apple Blossom EP. Shortly after the EP’s release, the band returned to the studio with Deems to start work on what would become their first full-length album, Graceful, out now on K Recs.
