The Austin Music Minute is supported by Howler Brothers, an Austin-based designer of creative outdoor apparel since 2011, and by Planet K, Austin’s local hemp emporium since 1990.
Awash in ambient layered shoegaze, dreampop and moody reflection, Seattle’s Beach Vacation reflects upon a draining emptiness following heartbreak on their latest single “Time Alone”, featured on today’s AMM. The band got its start after playing a high school talent show, soon followed by international recognition for their 2013 debut EP Maritime.
Beach Vacation plays tonight at 13th Floor, with Portland lo-fi pop artist VHS Ghost is on the bill. Doors at 8 p.m.
