One weekend down, and one more to go. The Austin City Limits Music Festival has been action packed, but in between the two crazy weekends, there is still a lot of live music to check out with loads of official ACL Fest nighttime gigs around town.
Today’s Austin Music Minute selection: LA-based band Lord Huron, who perform tonight at Emo’s, 2015 E. Riverside Dr. It’s an excellent bill with local neo-soul/shoegaze pop outfit Gold Beach kicking off the show. Doors open early at 7 p.m.
If you haven ‘t already, do check out Lord Huron’s album Strange Trails, chock full of multi-layered narratives inspired by songwriter Ben Schneider‘s passion for classic science fiction and horror stories. Recommended all around.
