All Black and Yellow

It’s a most lovely social event of the season, and all you really need to do is don your best (and most creative) black and yellow formal wear. The multi-talented Minor Mishap Marching Band presents the Black & Yellow Ball, a special fundraiser to help the gang get to NOLA to perform during Mardi Gras. If you’ve ever had the pleasure of seeing Minor Mishap instantly energize the city streets with their magnificent playing, you know that they’re absolutely perfect for a Mardi Gras celebration.

Tonight‘s ball takes place at Slackerville, a small local-business community located at 2209 S. 1st – home to great shops like End of An Ear and Amelia’s Retro-Vogue, and the revelry begins at 8 p.m. Minor Mishap will get the festivities going, and there will be a special performance by the fabulous Southern-fried vintage jazz singer, Datri Bean.

All attendees are kindly asked to wear their most lavish, flamboyant and wonderful black and yellow attire. Don’t be shy. Make it work! And have a marvelous time at the ball. Recommended.
