As always, the AMM’s selections include SX performances and festival alternatives. Here we go with Friday night’s adventures:
- SX shows tonight include Soda Lilies, 8 p.m. at Hotel Vegas;
- Houston hip-hop artist Rizzoo Rizzoo, 8 p.m. at Revival Coffee on E. 7th St.;
- Mr. Lewis & The Funeral 5 at the Chicken Ranch Records showcase at Valhalla on Red River;
- Montreal art pop by Night Lunch, 8 p.m. at Chess Club on Red River;
- Chicago neo soul artist Jada-Amina, 7:50 p.m. at Speakeasy at 412 Congress Ave.;
- Berlin gothic dream pop outfit Lucy Kruger & The Lost Boys, 8 p.m. at 13th Floor on Red River;
- Birmingham, England hip-hop artist SANITY, 8:50 p.m at the British Music Embassy at Sheraton;
- Shannon & The Clams play at 11 p.m. at Stubb’s.
Festival alternatives include The Ethereal Theatre showcase tonight at The Ballroom on Fruth St., featuring renown Atlanta underground rap artist/songwriter Tony Shhnow, along with AMM faves Mockjaw and Blackchyl, and more. Doors at 7 p.m. And Spaceflight Records‘ takeover of Central Machine Works continues this evening with Big Bill, SL Houser, Anastasia Hera, Otis Wilkins, and Nolan Potter’s Nightmare Band. The music starts at 5 p.m.
