Aquatica‘s got some new music out today, which they insist is “piloted by an astronaut experienced in bagel flight.” Serious skills. Just add the intergalactic schmear. But pre-released tracks “Jupiter” and “Outgrown” (the latter featured on today’s Austin Music Minute) from their LP Goodbye, Bagel reveal some badass heavyweight fuzz at the core of their outer space rock.
You can pick up the new tunes at Aquatica’s album release show tonight at Beerland, 711 1/2 Red River, an action-packed party featuring Soda Lillies, dottie (a side project borne of The Sophies), and Alexalone. Doors open at 9 p.m., and Aquatica plays at 10 p.m. Recommended.
