BOOHER fans know firsthand the gloriously unhinged energy they’re capable of at any given performance. Rock ‘n’ roll in its rawest purity, with no fear of getting loud. Considering all this, it’s a big deal that they’re choosing to make tomorrow’s performance at Radio East an unplugged version of their best BOOHER fare, and they can because it’s a gathering of some of Austin’s most talented musicians led by songwriter/vocalist Michael Booher.
Doors open at 7 p.m. tomorrow, with psych/rock outfit Heartchaser starting out the show. The evening is dedicated to BOOHER’s longtime friend/manager/supporter and all-around music lover Robyn Foxworth, who celebrates a birthday this week. Cheers.
