Having Little Mazarn as a featured residency artist this month at Hole In the Wall has practically guaranteed an impressive line-up of performances each week. The band that’s given you the breathtaking beauty of recordings like Texas River Song (2022), Mustang Island (2025) and the collaborative effort with Jolie Holland, Election Results (2025), can be trusted to handpick an equally wondrous selection of artists for each show.
Tonight’s show at the Hole is surely one for the books, with special guest Buffalo Nichols, shortly before he resumes some summer tour dates including a performance at LA’s 250 Years: We Were Always Here on June 19 at Regent Theater; and The Indestructible Now!, featuring members of the Sahara Quartet from Sahara Lounge, and Eternal Now, an improvisational project by KUTX Artist of the Month alum The Point. Doors at 8 p.m. this evening. Magnificence all around.
