Fever Forms

It’s all emerging directly from a technicolor dream. It’s infectious. Psychedelic. Not of this world. It is an animated musical adventure filled with the most ecstatic sounds ever to illuminate a dance party.

Austin-based band The Octopus Project‘s new album, Fever Forms, is very likely their most joyous-sounding and brilliantly colored project to date. The experimental multimedia connections of catchy melodies and beats will no doubt be accompanied by visuals that are equally as extraordinary at their upcoming live shows. Don’t miss The Octopus Project at their album release party tonight at the Mohawk, 912 Red River, on the outside stage. Doors open at 8 p.m. The bill includes sets by Wild Moccasins and local experimental noise rockers Zorch. And do not forget the killer afterparty show on the inside stage with Hard Proof Afrobeat, starting at 11:30 p.m. All stellar. All recommended. Roo.
