Last year, Athens, GA band Futurebirds celebrated their 15-year anniversary with an album that many consider their best yet, Easy Company. And they pulled out all the stops for this one, including contributing vocals by Katie Crutchfield of Waxahatchie and a bit of spoken word provided by Drive-By Truckers’ Patterson Hood – with producer Brad Cook working the magic on their fifth LP. A lot of badasses on this one.
