It’s a double-header tomorrow night at ACL Live. Igniting the stage in support of their latest LP Let All That We Imagine Be The Light, it’s Garbage, featuring the brilliant and unapologetic powerhouse Shirley Manson, sharing the bill with LA rockers Starcrawler. Doors at 7 p.m.
The album was borne, quite intensely, from Manson’s reclamation of her own body, which required an entire year’s worth of rest and rehabilitation after an old injury returned to wreak havoc. But Manson and her band handled it the way music artists do best – creating music. …The Light asserts the importance of hope over hopelessness in the midst of increasing turmoil.
