Who: This summer, the Austin Music Minute recently featured a track by Austin-based lo-fi soul outfit III Bones, “Hold On To Ya,” for the launch of their July residency at the Scoot Inn. The swirling, psyched-up shoegaze/pop-soul bliss was just a sample of the music to come on their forthcoming album, Haven’t You Heard.
What: III Bones recently announced the release of Haven’t You Heard on vinyl, paired with an entire sonic and visual experience that will be their release show, with sets by Ringo Deathstarr and Tele Novella.
When and where: It all goes down tonight at the Chicon Collective warehouse, located at 301 Chicon St., Suite D, in East Austin. To obtain tickets, you need to visit this link, because no tickets will be sold at the door. Doors open at 8 p.m., and the music starts at 9 p.m. This is going to be tremendous. Very recommended.
