In addition to being a brilliant songwriter, musician and actor (basically, doing all of the things), Cyndi Lauper is also cofounder of nonprofit True Colors United, which implements solutions to homelessness experienced by LGBTQ youth across the U.S.
Lauper is hosting Home For the Holidays, a gigantic virtual benefit concert supporting the organization with some of the biggest names in music. Bette Midler, Dolly Parton, Billie Eilish, Cher, LL Cool J, Brittany Howard, Amanda Shires & Jason Isbell, Brandi Carlile, Taylor Swift, the cast of Kinky Boots, and many others are on the big line-up.
You’ve two opportunities to catch the show – at 7 p.m. (Central) Friday December 11th on TikTok, and 7 p.m. (Central) Sunday December 13th on YouTube. Find RSVP links and donation details at the True Colors United website.
