“Cold Dancer” is beyond cool. And Chief Cleopatra is ready for more.
Several of us are still attempting to wind down after the festival madness of a couple of weeks ago. Count Chief Cleopatra as one of those artists doing their best to decompress. In addition to a flurry of shows and a performance for ATXN’s SOUND ON!, the Chief’s songwriter Jalesa Jessie made the scene at a grand Grammy Block Party – essentially a nonstop whirlwind of homies and new homies along the way.
But Jessie has hit the ground running, getting right back into the studio to work on new music, as the mad jam “Cold Dancer” picks up some well-deserved momentum. Catch Chief Cleopatra at their show tonight, Thursday March 28, at Hotel Vegas. The line-up includes cool dreamy pop by lluvii (pronounced UV), songwriter Francisco Jose Rosales’ project Midnight Navy, and witch folk outfit Secret Siren. Doors at 9 p.m.
