SXSW may be over, but the music goes on in the ATX. And the AMM is giving you a heads-up about this upcoming show:
New Orelans-based Hurray For the Riff Raff, formed by songwriter Alynda Segarra in 2007, is currently on tour in support of their eighth LP, Life on Earth, something Segarra has described as “nature punk” exploring themes of survival. The subject matter is intense, sometimes bleak, but Segarra has constructed a powerful, beautiful space of transformative sound.
Hurray For the Riff Raff will be in Austin for a show tomorrow night, Tuesday March 22, at Antone’s. Boston-based artist Anjimile starts out the night. Doors at 7 p.m., and the music starts at 8 p.m.
