Aaron Frazer follows tomorrow’s Studio 1A session with a show at Antone’s, with The Tailspins.
It was built from the cold ashes of heartbreak, but rises like a damn phoenix, and that sweet badass falsetto is the feather knocking you over. Into the Blue is the follow-up to the critically-acclaimed 2021 solo debut of Baltimore-born artist Aaron Frazer. So many different influences are driving this latest LP – soul, psych, blues, gospel, hip-hop, but it all connects in incredible ways, reflecting the impressive range of an artist on a daring evolution.
“Into The Blue is the clearest portrait of who I am as an artist,” Frazer says. “It’s me through and through.”
