Just after the early October release of Adding Up the Wasted Hours, The Lonely Forest immediately hit the road for a headlining tour that will continue through November. And it seems being on the road is something they love doing, especially after extremely gratifying experiences sharing the stage with the likes of Death Cab For Cutie, The Joy Formidable, Two Door Cinema Club and Minus the Bear between 2011 and 2012, promoting the critically-acclaimed Arrows.
Death Cab guitarist and producer Chris Walla worked with the Anacortes, WA quartet on the previous album, and returned to collaborate with them on Adding Up the Wasted Hours, further proof of the band’s knack for composing captivating, dreamy pop.
Their current tour includes a stop in Austin for a show tonight at Holy Mountain, 617 E. 7th St. Doors open at 8 p.m. Do check them out.
