The raves continue to fly for The Peterson Brothers Band, and with damn good reason. Twenty-year-old Glenn, Jr. and 17-year-old Alex play their scorching hybrid of blues, soul and funk in a style well beyond their years. And their incredible live performances have gotten them opening gigs for Willie Nelson, Gary Clark, Jr. and the late B.B. King. You know. No biggie.
Seriously, this will turn your Monday right around. You can see The Peterson Brothers at their residency show tonight at The Continental Club, 1315 S. Congress Ave. It’s an early set that starts at 6:30 p.m. Then, stay late to catch Dale Watson and his Lonestars at 10:30 p.m. Recommended.
