Singer, songwriter and violinist Carrie Rodriguez has assembled an impressive group of musicians for a monthly Laboratorio, a musical experiment created to push the boundaries of Latin music. Rodriguez will be joined by multi-instrumentalist Michael Ramos, bassist Roscoe Beck, and percussionist and vocalist Alex Marrero for tonight’s performance at the Cactus Cafe, 24th & Guadalupe in the Texas Union. This evening’s collaborative session includes special guest artist, Gina Chavez.
