This special event is actually on the last Tuesday of each month – hence the name, but this is more than a party. Twelve Rivers Presents: Last Tuesday is a community celebration elevating voices and manifesting all the good vibes for a great cause. Last Tuesday supports the work of DAWA, a local nonprofit empowering community frontliners and creatives of color through direct financial support and culturally relevant health-centered programming.
Chaka the Selector (DAWA founder and one half of Riders Against the Storm) is your host for the evening, presenting a DJ set by featured artist, Brooklyn-based MC Talib Kweli, including special guests NIKO IS, DJ Buck Rodgers, Smackola, Short Life and David Shabani.
