Erin Walter has the energy, the passion, and genuine enthusiasm to lead a band like Parker Woodland. But it’s more than a band. While watching them on stage or at a party, you get the sensation of a collective experience, inspired by musical friends contributing to a common energy that grows with every performance. Bassist/vocalist Walter, lead guitarist Andrew Solin and drummer Keri Cinquina are the core members of the punk/pop/indie folk outfit founded in 2018, which started when Walter got a few folks together for a jam at a neighborhood church. From there, it became an ongoing celebration incorporating the talents of various local artists of different backgrounds.
Parker Woodland headlines a show tomorrow night, Thursday Nov. 30, at Mohawk on the indoor stage. The bill features desert psych outfit Sheverb, and a solo set by Sabrina Ellis. Doors at 8 p.m. Power artists, one and all.
