Lord Huron tomorrow at Moody Center, with Feist.

It’s covering a lot of ground, but life is about that long stretch of journey. Then again, Lord Huron has an uncanny knack for building an atmosphere of wide stretches of land right out of a (Western) film. Rustic. Evocative. Now add celestial to this vibe as they venture beneath endless starry skies on The Cosmic Selector Vol. 1. Massive, effervescent melodies belie heavier themes of questioning loss, the idea of fate, searching for connection, and appreciating what’s already in your life.

That celestial reverberation touches down in the ATX when Lord Huron plays tomorrow night at Moody Center. The ever-fantastical Feist opens the show. Doors at 7:30 p.m.

*KUTX has featured the single “Nothing I Need”, but the AMM would also like to recommend today’s track “Bag of Bones”.
