Austin Music Minute favorite Name Sayers, led by songwriter/artist/local knife-sharpening maestro Devin James Fry, recently completed work on their forthcoming album, Mantles, set for release May 26th. And more good news, recently confirmed by Fry – the new release will be available on vinyl, a divine way to experience the ethereal vibes of these mystic rockers.
Chances are you just may get a preview of what’s to come when Name Sayers performs tomorrow night at the Mohawk, 912 Red River, on the indoor stage. Magical revelers on the bill, one and all: Royal Forest, The Dan Ryan and Little Mazarn make it a perfect evening. Things kick off after 8 p.m.
Damn fine bill. Recommended.
