Yes, it’s only Monday, but the AMM is looking ahead to Friday with longtime AMM fave Mayeux & Broussard, serving up doses of swampy-tonk country at The White Horse. This isn’t the kind of honky tonk your folks do their two-steppin’ to, either. Add extra grit, extra fire, a bit of blues and rock, and two songwriters combining Texas hill country and Gulf Coast roots to give it a cosmic country vibe.
Mayeux & Broussard hit the White Horse stage at 8 p.m. this Friday. Stick around for sets by Aaron McDonnell at 10 p.m., and Libby and The Loveless at midnight.
