KVRX presents New Year New Me Fest at New Guild Co-op, with Mulch Cult, Lord Friday the 13th, KindKeith, Casino, and Ramzel.
The AMM’s celebration of Love Austin Music Month continues with love for UT student-run station, KVRX 91.7. In addition to artist interviews, show reviews, and “playing none of the hits all of the time,” KVRX presents live shows throughout the year, both in-studio and at venues around town. This weekend, they’ve got an excellent introduction to new-to-you music with the New Year New Me Fest. Catch two AMM faves, trash glam punks Lord Friday the 13th and songwriter/keys maestro KindKeith (“For A While” is today’s AMM featured track), as well as sets by landscaping and weirdo music collective Mulch Cult, wall-of-sound rockers Ramzel, and Casino.
New Year New Me Fest starts at 8 p.m. tonight, Saturday Jan. 27, at the New Guild Co-op, 510 W. 23rd St.
