Here are a couple of things songwriter Danny Malone is looking forward to: The European release of his latest album SpeedDreamer, this fall, and a European tour in support of the release, scheduled to begin September 10.
And here is something he doesn’t exactly look forward to, but it happens anyway: His birthday. Not his most favorite time of the year, but this year, he decided he was going to enjoy it by putting together a special show with fantastic musical guests that he can actually see perform. So, he did just that by adding Matt Hines (The Eastern Sea) and Ben Ballinger to the bill. Excellent, one and all.
See Malone, Hines and Balllinger kill it tonight at Holy Mountain, 617 E. 7th St., 8 p.m. Check it out, and raise a glass to the birthday boy. Recommended.
