Pretty Good Gittin’

Time to unleash the honky tonk fury, friends. And devious duo Mayeux & Broussard will take the lead.

Tate Mayeux and Brian Broussard keep the grit and grime in their Texas-style country, with just the right touch of swamp-soaked blues, roots and the rowdier side of any alt.-country elements, gleefully shunning expectations of what Americana is supposed to sound like. There’s no shying away from rambunctious good times or trouble-making for the mighty M and B.

All that being said, you really should get your boots ready and head out to see Mayeux & Broussard tonight at The White Horse, 500 Comal St. They play at 10 p.m. Andy Lund & Black Bear start out the evening at 8 p.m., and Doug Strahan & The Good Neighbors go on at midnight. If you’re at The White Horse for happy hour, don’t miss Robert Allan Caldwell‘s set at 6 p.m.

It’s all good for ya. Recommended.
