From Perth, Australia’s Psychedelic Porn Crumpets unleash more love for the absurd with their three-single release, Weird World Awoke, a precursor merely scratching the surface of what’s to come on the LP Carpe Diem, Moonman, out May 15. Guitarist/vocalist Jack McEwan promises more chaos from the band’s latest adventure with a laundry list of inspirations, from wonder and excitement to “an explosion of doubt…dog bites, Greek philosophy, death, weekend benders and a partridge in a pear tree…” We would expect no less.
