Quiet Company vinyl release show tonight at Empire Control Room, with Lola Tried and Subpar Snatch.
The hardcore fans know Shine Honesty (2006). But your AMM host got the heart-mutilator intro to Quiet Company with Everyone You Love Will Be Happy Soon – though Transgressor and We Are All Where We Belong set the power pop levels to ruthless. Taylor Muse pens a ferocious ballad, where heart and soul are not only bared but set ablaze – just after being torn apart.
This week, QC re-releases two of their EP’s on vinyl: 2017’s Your Husband, The Ghost and 2019’s On Corners & Shapes. And it all comes with a badass vinyl release show tonight at Empire Control Room on E. 7th. Actually, it’s a double release show with Lola Tried celebrating their new EP Feast (“Hot Shot Barbie” was recently featured on KUTX’s Song of the Day). Garage-punk power trio Subpar Snatch opens the show. Doors at 7 p.m.
