Remixed & Reimagined showcase tonight at Chess Club, with Daniel Fears, Vonne, Alesia Lani, and BluMoon.
Black History Month is coming to a close, but these are stories to be shared and amplified all year round. Four such stories belong to the multi-talented artists performing at tonight’s Remixed & Reimagined showcase, presented by KVRX 91.7 at Chess Club.
KUTX Artist of the Month alum and Unwound Sound Indie Orchestra performer Daniel Fears is on this spectacular bill, with songwriter Kendra Sells’ alt.-R&B/alt.-soul project BluMoon (“Playing Pretend” from their LP Slow Burn is on today’s AMM); musician, vocalist and film composer Vonne (Hair Care will be screened at this year’s SXSW); and singer/songwriter Alesia Lani, celebrating the release of a new self-titled album, and a fiery video for the single “Lean Into You.”
Doors for Remixed & Reimagined at 7 p.m., with Lani starting out the evening at 8 p.m.
