Who: Country-rock outfit (and Austin Music Minute fave) These Mad Dogs of Glory
What: These gents have been laying low for a bit to concentrate on new music. But lo and behold, they emerge from the confines of the studio to play just for you.
When: Tonight at 10 p.m., following Kathryn Legendre at 9 p.m. and The Hang at 8 p.m. A great gig all around.
Where: The Sahara Lounge, 1413 Webberville Rd.
Why: It’s a good thing the gents decided to focus their energy on new music, but there was a bit of TMDoG withdrawal going on, so this’ll be quite nice. At the same time, it’ll be a tad bittersweet, as the band says adieu to bassist James Hart, who is playing his last show with TMDoG tonight. Cheers to you, Hart.
